Meet our founder

Hi, I’m Nanette.
This mission is personal.

Nanette Moore · Founder & Executive Director

My name is Nanette Moore, and I am the Founder & Executive Director of Rebuilding Her Village. Having experienced divorce, housing challenges, and the experience of starting over while raising children, I understand how much it matters to have support when you are rebuilding your life.

Those experiences inspired me to create Rebuilding Her Village for low-income single mothers navigating life after a breakup, separation, or divorce. I wanted to help mothers find practical resources, encouragement, and a community that cares about their next chapter.

Through community connections and support, my goal is to help mothers regain confidence and create greater stability for themselves and their children. We are building this village one connection at a time, with the belief that no mother should have to rebuild alone.

Helping Mothers Rebuild. Strengthening Families. Restoring Community.
